Truly agree with you. The moderator seems to be sleeping or is just bothered with a few selected members posts and not bothered for the Professional community as whole

Thanx Sir for your Views..Everyday i have to Check my profile delete all the posts..clean up the shelf..this is really frustrating..

Why isnt dere any kill switch.. there shud a block user systm here..and its shame to say you wud find senior member doin this stuff and following them are there chellas

There is also an option to change the privacy settings in the profile settings section. We can activate the option, "Allow Only Friends To Scrap You". Atleast we can get some respite from spam!

The bone of contention is the Ipod. Remove it as a reward for the most thanked member of the month and the activity of spamming the forums and other members profile will go down drastically.

Exactly Deepak..People are spamming because of those IPods and TsHirts and Bla bla..and Site Admins wont remove them because because of the Greed user try to post anything whether relevant or not..Users know it wud give them points or Thanks..

Majority of the resources which are posted my members are not original. Its just copy paste from other websites and on the back of others they try their claim to fame.

Members can also share useful files from other websites also but with due courtesy to the original writer and source link. This is not happening. The forum rules have been made just for the sake of technical formalities.

Admin of this website is now busy in more money making formulas (Eg: CAclubindia Pro) for this website rather than concentrating on the content, which once used to be core.

The time which members spend in becoming the top thanked member, the amount of electricity they consume in running their computers for the whole month, the quantity of bandwith they consume during their most thanked member pursuit also contibutes to the global warming. If they sum up all these in monetary terms, they can buy themselves an Ipod even cheaper than this.

But this is INDIA, people are very fascinated with the word "FREE". Whereever they see free they jump on to it like a hungry dog.

This problem will continue to prevail because every human being is not the same. This also shows their character, what they are made of. Spamming can be curtailed but it cannot be stopped altogether.

I totally agree with you Ankur. If you want to get popularity to your post, you should be qualitative and innovative to it.. This thing cant be achieved by scrapping in peoples profiles. If it's worth reading, people will definitely read it and in return it will get popular. Most of the times I ignore the link posted in my profile and straight away delete it. Because its so frustrating. Moderator should take some steps for this.

Further, if you want people 'thank' you, be qualitative in your approach, why do you go on hunting for the 'thank's from the club mates. I have seen some posts that are truly catching and without any 'publicity efforts' they are thanked by the members. If you keep in mind only the t-shirt or the i-pod then there wont be a qualitative contribution by you to the club. Also, i have seen some members in the 'expert' module, just replying to the resolved queries as e.g. "Ya, he is right", "Ya, I agree with the above expert". This is just to increase 3 points per reply or just to get the credit of queries answered by you. But ask the question to yourself, are you satisfied with the 'support' you have given to the club. Just increasing the marks or points or thanks is not the help to the club. Try to be Qualitative rather than to be Quantitative.
