Yes you have to pay tax if such goods purchased from unregister dealers.
Just now I have done cost-benefit analysis at 5% GST in respect of composition scheme. Unless you have 150% margin or more on your cost, do not opt for composition scheme. Here in this case your margin is 28.57%, so normal registration will be beneficial to you
