For practise Rakesh Makkar is best book as it have no. of ques to solve but for concept clearing u can go for padhuka
Rishi karnawat book( Jaipur based teacher) . This book helps me getting exemption in ca final nov'16 exam. Written in simple language and good for building concepts required for exams . But for questions you have to do ICAI compiler
You should refer the book of Rahul Malkhan. It is the best book for self study. Every concept is clearly explained in this book.

for concepts clarity, pattabhi ram's book is the best
module is above all authors. i have scored 70..but studied SM thoroughly alog side PM for sums.. and you actually doesn't require author for SFM/FR these are self manageable
