Dear members,
Whether itc on expences such as telephone bill, business promotion and repair & maintance. is allowed or not??

Yes. Subject to restrictions under section 17(5) of CGST Act.

1.Telephone bill - If it is in the name of the company and address and place of business is mentioned then only one should claim input claim

2.Business Promotion - Eligible for ITC

3.Repair and maintenance - Not resulted into immovable property - Eligibile for ITC

Yes...
ITC available for above said Inwards / Expenses.
But Conditions are Your GSTIN is must in the Invoices... Also the same way the Seller will file the Invoice...

Yes available subject to certain conditions.

One, your GSTIN should be mentioned in such invoice.

Two, such vendor should promptly file his GST returns.

Third, such amount should be reflected in GSTR 2.

sir one of our sales person stay in hotel ,in other state .but hotal charge sgst & cgst instead charge igst . can we take credit for this

No... ITC not available... The hotel charged CGST & SGST is correct. Bcoz, The place of supply is Intra State...

Please do share the provision that supports your statement : only CGST can be claimed as ITC
