Whether cpt exempted ?

Rahul I think the then President CA. G Ramaswamy had issued a press statement at that point in time when the Institute was contemplating to bring back the Direct Entry Scheme (Intermediate) by which a Graduate with Pass percentage of 55 % for Commerce and 60% for Non- commerce was exempted from doing CPT. 

If you remember, when the CPT scheme when originally introduced, it required that every person (including graduates / postgraduates) to complete CPT and then move into PCC/IPCC level.

Please correct me if my observations are flawed.
