Where does the idt case laws come from except the cases issu

Case based past year questions do repeat.

These are given in Practice Manual.

These are the decisions of 2000-2010

Some Landmark Judgements of 70s, 80s, 90s. 

These are given in ICAI study material.

November 2014 is an exception. 

4 Case Laws came. 1 was from ICAI IDT material. Others were out of ICAI publications. These cases were given in the cases published by Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC.

I have a habit of reading published materials from Big4. I had read all the cases. I did not remember the names but I could easily recall the issue.

I got 61 in IDT.

But this will not happen always. 

Cases will come from Select Cases Book by ICAI. Some old cases from Practice Manual and some landmark judgements from the study material.

PS : ICAI has changed the pattern. Only Now Q3 will come from the cases. The weightage of cases has dratically reduced to just 16 marks.
