When I take deduction u/s 80CCD2?

I m a BPCL employee. My employer contributes 10℅ towards NPS. But same is not added in my salary income. In this case can I get deduction U/s 80CCD2. Pl. clarify.

You get deduction under 80CCD2.
Employer is contributing directly to NPS account. It is like EPF Employer's contribution.
suppose in 1st case employer is added 10% NPS employers contribution amount in his employee salary. While in 2nd case employer is not added 10% NPS employers contribution amount in his employee salary. In which case deduction will be allowed u/s 80CCD(2).
All depends upon Employer Employee terms and conditions about Salary package
it can be allowed when it was included in gros salary
suppose such amount is not included in salary must mention such amount in salary and put the same amount in section 80ccd2
mostly it is added in your salary under some head if not separately. Check with your employer BPCL HRD department. Check Form 26 with pay slips. only after that you get a certificate for NPS Employer contribution and then add to your salary income
