I work for a company based in Ireland and the stocks are listed in NYSE, I enrolled in ESPP(Employee Share Purchase Plan) and receive the shares at discounted rates twice a year. I have following questions related to it:
1) Do I need to declare the shares acquired this year ie. till Dec 2024 in Schedule FA section A3 Details of Foreign Equity and Debt Interest held?
2) what value should I enter in column "Nature of Entity"? Will it be Shares or Stock?
"Date of Acquiring the Interest" - this would be when the shares are allocated/purchased
"Initial Value of investement" - Amount invested to purchase the shares
"Peak value of investement during the year" - Highest value of the shares
"Closing balance" - Will this be the total share valuation at end of the year?
Total gross amount paid/credited with respect to the holding during the period " - What needs to be entered here??
3) I am enrolled in the ESPP since quite few years I have never declared the shares in earlier ITR that have filed till now, so how do I declare this year accumulated shares that are in my account?
Do I enter additonal line items in A3 itself and declare previously purchases shares or is there any other alternative?
