Most of the graduates are waiting for the new ammendment of ICAI which is Exemption from CPT to Graduates. Most of the persons are not written the CPT exam and was waiting for last 6 months from the Date of message told by ICAI President CA.G.Ramaswamy. When the bill is going to passed in parliment? The institute have to give clear message.

Expected in April.

As per information from well source it will be applicable from April 2013.But dont wait for that just go on with CPT

please do not wait for the ICAI notification because it is pending in the offiical gazette for passing  from many time.

As we know that there is a notification regarding CPT exemption for graduates. I strongly think it will never approve in this present scenario. Already they given a notice but, practially think friends they are getting crore’s of income through this CPT level. And also announced that any stream ( M.P.C or BI.P.C) can enter into this profession. So previously there was no rush to jump in this course but presently I am seeing many wabpages that studnets are willing to join in this CA course rather than engineering or any other.  And ICAI recently announced to CPT  students register themselves on or( before APRIL 4th.   So by this particular notice we can think that it will not approve in this coming 6 months also at present.

Most gradutes are waiting to approve and they are not attempting CPT also I think. So it’s upto you weather to write CPT or to wait for the approval.

why to waste time.... just do your studies...

I just dont get it.

Is this money saving tactic or students wanting bye in life.

If tomorrow government comes with some law stating   please  start earning or what will we do is deposit 10 crore in your account.Make fixed deposit and  feed your family than all will start we want 2nd option.

If you ask the most easiest exam in CA field acccording to me is cpt.

I am not saying that  because i cleared but i myself flunked it.

But without studing(just 1st chapter of maths and 1st chapter of law) i applying some strategy was able to score 75 marks.

I guess if i had studied properly with concepts clear i would had scored  160+ marks easily with the paper which came this time.

Also i am a graduate with 1st class engineering and could easily wait for the law to get amend and apply for IPCC.

But what i  am failing to understnad is people not wiling to clear their basics have the will to go for the kill. And want direct entry.

If one doesnt want to give a simple 4 option answer  question than how will one clear ipcc subjects where all your knowledge will be tested pants down

As shashidar said by 4th april date means.

One should wait till 31st march 2012 for law to change or  apply else they should go for december attempt.

I only will say dont wait for this stuff go for the kill.Get basic funda strong that hit the target hard.

Is this money saving tactic or students wanting bye in life. It's a waste of time for B. com students, who already studied those subjects and did well. I got 75% overall in commerce and 82% in the final exam. I don't care abt the 6000 rupees or even coaching classes.  I just don't feel I need to prove my proficiency in the CPT.

But what i  am failing to understnad is people not wiling to clear their basics have the will to go for the kill. And want direct entry. it may be basics for non commerce graduates, but not for commerce graduates like me.

If one doesnt want to give a simple 4 option answer  question than how will one clear ipcc subjects where all your knowledge will be tested pants down  like i said, it's not even the difficulty.

As shashidar said by 4th april date means.

One should wait till 31st march 2012 for law to change or  apply else they should go for december attempt. wrong, if it is announced by 31'st march then we can't write november ipcc, but we can atleast get study materials from other places and study for the may exam in advance.  if it is rejected by march 31st then write the CPT on june 2012 by applying on 4th april, the last day for applications.

I only will say dont wait for this stuff go for the kill.Get basic funda strong that hit the target hard. fundas are strong enough, my friend.

In my openion. They should not give-up CPT. Even  Commerce Graduates are finding many Practical issues as well as  Concept wise issues when Studying CPT.  in my openion CPT is a stepping stone to become CA

hey can anyone knw abt ipcc after bcom

Let me clear you little what i heard from ICAI news yes it has passed the rule that graduates don't need to get pass in CPT to complete their CA. . but it has not been applied to take effect direct by ICAI so wait untill fully apply!

"direct entry to ipcc" is it applys for graduates who are already registered for cpt?

As of now, graduates who are already registered for cpt are not eligible to apply. However, institute may release detailed guidelines/FAQs on August 16th. So lets wait and watch. But mostly there is no chance.
