CA= 9.5

CS = 8.5

CWA = 7.5

CFA = 9

CPA = 7

MBA= 8

I dont think it makes sense to just rate like this. For example, a CA degree in strategy consulting, in marketing, branding, HR etc will be 0. whereas for accounting, auditing and taxation it will be 10 out of 10.

Even in Investment Banking, front office it will be 0, back office it will be between 6-8.

Same is the case with all other degrees!

Similarly, an MBA from IIM would be 10 out of 10, whereas an MBA from local institute would be only 2-3 out of 10.

The ranking depends of many things mainly for what exactly are we ranking it for (the exact profile should be known).

sorry balu and manmohan, but they can't be compared to each other.

One course is good in one respect, and other in others. It's not possible to bind them in ratings.

MBA FROM LOCAL ONLY ASKED, IT CAN BE DONE WITH OTHER COURSE LIKE CA AND MBA TOGEHTER...ASKED TO RANK FOR CA NOT PARTICULAR CA JOBS...

IF YOU CANT RANK, ITS K ELAVE IT. JUST LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS WHICH WILL BE  BEST TO DO IN DUAL...SO THAT OTHERS CAN UNDERSTAND AND TAKE THERE DECISION....

Agree.......

Hey I think thats nice if we all share about future possiblity of the given courses.. Obviously we all are doing these courses to build our career.. I wont deny Krunal comment.. They are not comparable.. but Balu's Forum is nice.. As we see it will help others to take decision that which add on qualification gonna help them in future with respect of job/ Practice.

No doubt  CA's are in more demand also they will get better position in a company than ICWA (Considering same work exp/ beginners).  so my ranking similar to Manmohan's except for CFA and MBA(local insti). CA + CS genrally make a good combo. and while u r working u can add MBA(local) but It jus work as an add on..

Absolutely

One cannot rate all these courses. It depends upon personal likes. One more interested in accounting will obviously rate CA as 10 on 10. Same is for CS, MBA, CFA....... In my opinion one who is successful in whichever field he is in, then rating is not that important.

According 2 me each course as its uniqueness a student of B.com may not do C.A but he may do an M.B.A with C.F.A it totally depends on each ones perception each course ranks top among it self

I am doing CS with CA but I will suggest CA+MBA the unbeatable match.

no of qualifiactions actually does not matter it is how you learn the things and how you present them does....

Many people are less educated and sucessfull at last that is required....

Education is only a part of life. We cannot say a person with a MBA from ordinary university is worthless if he has talent he can prove, and similarly we cant say a CA/CFA/CWA is unbeatable it all depends from person to person

You are right Prem...we dont have any CAs or IIMs or IITs in fortune 500 list of richest people...but in that list, we do have people who never attended schools and colleges, we have people who are drop outs as well.

And I would like to add that it is a myth that CAs are in demand.

See - https://www.caclubindia.com/forum/message_display.asp?group_id=48993 for more details.

It is not my opinion, the numbers speak for themselves, so dont curse me.
