NPA ie; NON PERFORMING ASSETS...are those advances made by banks which remains overdue for a period of 90 days after its due date...ie; neither interest nor principal amount is repaid on these advances.

A classification used by financial institutions that refer to loans that are in jeopardy of default. Once the borrower has failed to make interest or principal payments for 90 days the loan is considered to be a non-performing asset.

NPA  means non performing assets, wich means from whom not any income generated

Non Performing Asset - that is more a liability than a profit to the bank.
