What is IPCC merit criteria??

Hello to all..

Firstly, I wanted to ask that can a person get merit in IPCC by giving only Group 1 of IPCC??

Will the person be counted in merit list if he/she gets the required marks for merit in Group 1?? Or is it necessary to give both groups for getting into merit??

Secondly, I had opted for both groups but I am scared in Paper 5: Advanced Accounting. As I also did not take any coaching, so I do not have much knowledge on that subject. So I now plan to give only Group 1 of IPCC. Will my not giving Group 2 count as a failed attempt as in my exam form too I had opted for both the groups.

Kindly help..

1. for rank ... U need to give both groups at one sitting. So giving one grp at a time won't be count as merit

in any way.

2. For advance accounting, I would suggest you to understand the basic structure of accounts first i.e. Banking companies, electric companies.

3. Do compiler and practice manual so that you can utilize your time in proper way. As it's not possible

to take coaching right now. In case you wanna give both groups.

4. yes group 2 will be considered as fail attempt. As  absent will be marked against every unattended

paper.
