Attempts doesnt matters much.... the thing which matter is perfct knowledge & experience..
Nd we all know Chartered Accountants are the one who has the Maximum value wen fully depreciated!
I think 1st attempt gives more boost to profession and provides/serves a best way/path to flourish in highly competitive profession....... But opinions differ from person 2 person..... :)

it really does not matter ... once you are qualified
