Acturial science is a Course which makes you a certified valuer. In India, we have a very few people who have completed the entire course.
It has 15 papers in total, and mainly consisting of Statistics, Insurance and Finance related topics. It requires Very comfort level in Maths.
Right now Indian and UK acturial science institutes are best to persue this course.
It's not an expensive course, but it demands alot of time and a very sharp mind to get it done.
A qualified CA/CS/ICWA is not required to clear entrance paper for it. they can get admission directly.
Very few people has completed the entire course,(Even lesss than 2000 in India), But if any one is able to clear only 7-8 papers also along with CA, he can get around 40-50 lakhs P.A. across the globe.
