I have heard him in DUBAI CHAPTER meeting and seems promising.

reduction of articleship period of pcc articles...................hope this news comes
may he declare some positive hope for us (PE2 Students)
1. Mr mohan; chacha means giving respect.
2. what did u hear in dubai chapter; that u found him "promising".
3. Being in student section; we are talking from student's point of view.
4. Mr nitin; i fear that chopra chacha wont extend the no of attempts of pe2 students.
5. I hope articleship of pcc is decreased by 6 months(which i doubt). Students are beasts of burden, remember?
If ICAI increases attempts of PE-2/ PCC.........then it's of no use..........The results...as we all know...is going to decrease.....It is better to allow students to convert into IPCC.........so that atleast Pe-2 students start their articleship after clearing any one of the groups.........
ICAI now has to think from student's point of view...........It's enough ........
THEY r increasing attempts........but not "passing %"..........What's the use of all such decisions.........

In APril speech president said that he will make some relaxation in artcleship transfer rule. 2 months has been passed but no amendment till now. Hope in June's speech he will make amendmant and he will allow 1 unconditional transfer.
We are the article /interns not the slaves. When icai will understand this simple matter????
They have mentioned only about derecoginition of dummy articles nothing about reduction of articleship.. its not worth to believe..

There amarjit chacha is saying," we need to make sure lots of students take up CA course."
May be the logic is "cost of hiring students will be less" (supply will be more than demand) and icai can earn crores in increased fees of cpt,coaching(if made compluslory),ipcc, worthless ITT,orientation,gmcs, etc.
hopefull upcoming results will be good, as president mention in june newsletter that country demands more C.A.

Pls let me know if a student has cleared one group of PE 2, he will also converted into IPCC and will do 3 yrs of articleshp though he has already completed it.
