we have a case going on under Bureau of investigation under vat.they have scrutinised our bills and told us to pay "X" amount . We want to know if this payment is made will this case be handed over to the charge and they would again ask us to pay or the case will be closed at the bureau end.What is the procedure for bureau of investigation to ask for the amount investigated on crutiny of the transaction. will they give us any order to pay or any advice to pay or any kind of written document which proves this is the amount one has to furnish to clear the case.please advice.
