Hi..

What is a way bill? When is it used ? does it have any relevance while taking CENVAT credit?

A waybill is a form issued by Sales Tax Department to the person who wants either to purchase goods from other states or to sale goods to dealers of other states. It is a documentary proof of CST transaction held between dealers of two states or between dealer and final consumer of two states and thereby is a must for making CST purchases.

way bill is instrument issued by the Concern commercial tax dept to procure the good fm Interstate it is no way concern with excise Cenvat Regards Ramesh Kothari

Way bill is a printed form of various state Govt. for inter state transaction in order to prove about the transaction and to avail the (CST) saving. It is mendatory for all shorts of interstate transaction.

FORM C IS ISSUED BY A REG. DEALER (PURCHASER) TO SELLER OF

GOODS IN CASE OF CST SO AS TO CHARGE HIM SALES TAX AT LESSER

RATE.

hi susant ,

1. Form "C" is the Sales Tax document and the same issued by the registered purchase dealer to registered Seller of goods. In this form, the purchaser has to declare invoice number and invoice date and value of invoice. If purchasear not issued C form within the prescribed time limit by the department, the seller can claim differcial tax amount from purchaser.

2. Way bill noting but transportation document issued by purchaser to seller for transport the goods between differenct states.

Dear Sir,

I would appreciate if you could help me out on this.

Company B in Maharasthra contacts Company A in MP to supply goods to Company C in AP under 6(2) Sale/ sale in Transit/ E1 E2 Sale. Who would the AP WAYBILL be issued to as supplier, Company A or B?

eg. Company A issues invoice to Company B

Company B issues invoice and L/R to Company C using E1/E2 exchange.

Company C raises AP WayBill - who would it be issued under.
