Penalty in already submitted return is to be paid even if penalty waived off.
Same will be credited back to your ledger.....

Chamarthi Venkatesh-Sir, My Clients has submitted Sep-17 GSTR3B - (Not filed) Before file he need to pay latefee for aug.
So, if he pay Latefee and file GSTR3B, then when will he get credit Latefee amount in cash ledger ? instantly ?
No one know when credit will availablr in cash ledger but will be available soon....

Hi my client paid 6000 late fee for august gstr 3b , when will he get back the late fee in his cash ledger...he didnt get yet.
