Quick Summary
If you've started your business and are considering voluntary GST registration after the initial 30-day period, don't worry. The consensus is that for voluntary registrations, there's no strict 30-day deadline, meaning you can still apply. You can generally use your business commencement date, and GST will apply from your registration date onwards. This approach is considered compliant with the law.

Since you are registering voluntarily, so you can write a date which is within the 30 days time limit.
You may put the original date since your reg. is on voluntary basis it won't be a problem.

No problem. You can show you had commenced business before but you are registering now. GST will be charged by you in your invoices from the date you have registered

For voluntary registration, there is no time limit like within 30 days..

So, you can file your application very well and it's within and as per law.
There is no contravention.
