Hi Friends,

Please advise me to overcome this difficult situation..

Very urgent.      pls. pls..........

I appeared for the cwa inter exams in dec 2012 and got 66 in accounts and 69 in law, but unfortunately in tax paperi got 29 so i failed.  I already cleared cwa inter group-2 in June 2011 itself.

I would like to apply for reverification of tax paper. Can any one please suggest me the procedure for reverification?

If I appear i June 2012, i should get minimum and must of 50 marks in tax paper, If the question paper is given like that of Dec 2011, then its not possible for me to get 50 marks in that difficult paper.

I am thinking of surrendering my law paper and want to reappear for the both papers in june 2012. so that the burden of getting marks will be on 2 papers. I am confident of getting good marks in law paper. But not in tax paper.

If i appear in june 2012, without surrendering any paper and without scoring 50 marks, my result will be negative and i have to reappear in dec 2012, then my final eligibility will be in dec 2013 which requires compulsory completion of 6 months of training,

So please give me ur valuable suggestions..

Thanks in advance frndz....

Give only tax paper... you can clear it with 50 marks, looking at the marks u got in other subjects..I assume tax wont be that difficult as the last time around..........

Pls explain why 50 marks ?? Why not 40??

Agrregate marks required is 50% irrespective the number of subjects u give...........

The Institute says : If a student obtains 60% or more marks in any paper(s) and a minimum of 40% marks in each of the remaining paper(s) of that group shall be allowed the benefit of carry forward of the actual marks so obtained by him/her in that or those papers in which he/she had obtained 60% or more marks for the purpose of computing his/her results in the subsequent examinations.

@ vignesh

hey..buddy why dont u look another side of situation... u hve plenty  of time to study taxation in detail..

Prons : - 1) U can overcome over your fear / hesitation / or anything may be for taxation.(sorry if  i m wrong )

                2)  u can also understand  taxation in detail which will definitely help practically dealing too..

                3)  it is good that u are already stronger in law/audit ...but if you not take exemption in law

paper..who gives guarntee that law paper will come simple in next attemt & if you give only

tax ..then u  need to study hard  only for TAX ONLY...

atlast one thing only.. if u can score 60+ in other papers WHY NOT in TAX too..

your choice...

Thanks

Hi Vignesh,

Kindly give only 1 paper i.e. Tax . Dont worry. Everything will be fine. Just work hard on this particular paper. Dont think of 40 or 50. Aim of 60 marks or more.

All the Best

Thank you frndz for ur suggestions....

I will write tax paper alone in next attempt.

Can any pls suggest me which tax book is good at concept and problems point of view for ADT.

Thanks to every one frndz......
