yes bayya ..what u told is exactly right...we have to care...not only male members but also not give your number aur any other personal details to any female members too..becoz we dont know actually he/she is male or female..it may be fake profile....be careful girls..

in my opinion not give even your mail id /orkut id..not share ur photos here..if you want to chat use caclub chat room for it...

It is professional site. Members in this site are professionals and professional students. Every person in this site should follow the rules and regulations strictily. Admin strict action against who not follow the rules we the members want this as professional..

I have posted the same thing, sometime back... and being a moderator here, requesting again to all our female knowledge partners at caclubindia to send me or to the ADmin, that PM ID you have received from the abusive profile.

However, we, the back-end team is taking care about the things happening here but its hard to get the pulse detail of each member.

I humbly request you to report abusive profiles/forum threads or any other postings at caclubindia.

Misbehaviour with female is very costly.

Harassment to Hackers by fake profiles also there, no wonder fake profiles are harassing other members also.

I received this PM from a member who is not in my friendlist:

Immediately After sending this PM to me, this member has make such settings in her settings menu that no one can send her a PM or scrap except members who are in her friendlist. It has been noticed that the sole objective behind doing this is to irritate me.

My reply to this PM  by sending a PM though her security settings restricted me to send a PM:

Note: Members cannot use the method adopted by me in case of technical harassment as it requires special skills of internet, yet there are many ways available to deal with technical harassments also. 

Public Harassment:

Public harassment occurs when some member tries to defame or insult or harass other member publicly. For example Some member has posted an insulting scrap on my brother's profile so that all can see that publicly on his profile and made my brother delete his profile with same. Never tolerate public harassment and results of public harassment can not be good.

There is no security on this earth, there is only opportunity. CAclub is a precious platform for making professional friend circle and sharing knowledge and there is no reason to be panic of fake profiles. All members require is to take a little care just while accepting friends and I agree that it is not proper to share mobile numbers with others except you trust. The best attempts are made to remove fake profiles from this website and these are just a few examples:

Yet it is not possible to remove fake profiles 100%, just use the report abuse button or send PM to Admin if there is any trouble.

The best solution of this problem is to make available Ignore User button on every profile. 

Harassment is called online exploitation in our language and irrespective of whether you are a boy or girl, if you are tolerating harassment and not taking any actions, then as the white hat, I would like to tell that you are the biggest manor on this earth.

The kind of professionalism I see here is below my expectation.Earlier I had provided ma EMail ID so that I can b in touch with ma professional friends but then people from opposite gender started taking personal interests & vulgar messages..THen I gave up d idea of sharing any contact info..

So gals pls b careful b4 giving any contact details...& pls check d genuineness of d reason for sharing such contact details...

I would request all the members to use the privacy setting to control who can contact you via pm or scrap /privacy_settings.asp. You can enable only friends can get in touch with you.

If any person in your friend list is disturbing you , use manage friends /my_friends.asp to delete him from your friends list.

And lastly report us before deleteing the content if any such member is found undertaking such activity.

Even I went through the same Situation .. In intial Stages members here were only speaking about studies and profession and were very helpful......but these days I have think twice abt accepting any requests .... Thanks for your Message sir.. We wil definetely take care....
