17 October 20151) What are the government charges to apply for VAT + CST in Delhi.
2) With reference to online eyewear/ eyeglasses business, how much VAT I should charge from my customers in Delhi and Outside Delhi ?
3) Can I file the VAT/ CST returns myself by visiting the prescribed banks? Is it a complicated procedure? What documents will I be needed at that time?
4) Since mine is a very small business, what all accounting books should I maintain initially?

1) Government Fees is Rs 1025/-
2) VAT on Eyeglasses is @ 12.5%
3) VAT /CST Returns should be file online and hard copy of the same should be submitted at DVAT Department within a due date . If you have DSC (Digital Signature) you dont need to submit hard copy at department.
4) Records of the Purchase / Sale Bill and Receipt & Payment received / made against the Bills should be maintained properly.
