Please anybody tell me what are the vat implication in west Bengal regarding stock transfer?? stock transfer within the state or outside of the state. .......................... please reply in details......

For local stock transfers there are no specific forms. You have to use your own delivery challans. For bringing goods on stock transfer or purchase from outside you have to use VAT form50 and for taking them out form 51. Application for these forms are to be submitted in forms 52 and 53 respecctively.For receipts of material from outside the state you have to issue 'F' forms and ,in turn ,receive the same when you send them out.No tax liability is involved in staock transfers........mjk
