VAT & CST Audit

Hi,

I don't know much about the VAT& CST.

So pls. tell me where can i get the info. about vat applicabilities,rates ,returns ,tax payment & penalties as i m gonna auit a company with vat sales.

Pls. help me so that i can audit them easily & can check what r the mistakes they have made for Vat entries or other legal requirements.
