Vat Credit on Electric Bills

Dear All,

I am in Mfg unit and using electricity for the factory. While audit i found that i am paying vat/state tax on electricty.

My question is whether can i get input credit of tax?

If i am paying the same for office? then

please guide me

No. Its not allowed, all electrical instalation  not alloed.

u can only claim input of those item of which u hve taken registration if ur manufacture of shoes u can input relating to that item , u cant claim claim on electricity  whole amout is ur indirect expense
