In the small size coprates hopitals generally medicines are purchased by paying VAT and same issued to inpatients during the treatment. At the time of discharges of patient - Is It liable for hopital to collect VAT from patient on the cost of medicines please clarify.

cat is applicable on sales of medicine from hospitals pharmacy... so vat is applicable u have to collect it from the patient while discharging
