Urgently seeking advice - scammed by my CA

Dear Members, 

The CA I had assigned all my accounting and taxation work is not responding. I was following up since July 2021 for books of accounts so ITR could be filed. Suddenly on Dec 31st, he sent me an email stating ITR was filed. There was no discussion and I have no knowledge how and based on what ITR was filed. After this, he has been non-responsive to emails, calls, WhatsApp etc

I want to understand below.

1. Which is the apex body to complain about such unprofessional conduct so that action can be initiated and my books of accounts returned to me
2. Isn't this fraud? I want to take some action here as I believe this must have happened to many others who have simply moved on and let this person feel confident of his actions. Any suggestions here will help. 
3. How do I get a copy of the ITR filed and what should be next steps.

There might not be any fraud..Just visit his/ her office once . Mostly professionals does the tax filing with evidence only. Office might have shifted or practical issue might be there due to pandemic.

And also ensure that you have paid their fees on time & make sure that you are perfect in all aspects before complaining.

Else there are many penal provisions for bogus complaints against professionals..
