How to prepare tds return of state govt. dept. ?
The depts. transfering the tds deducted from contractors to adjusting account between state & central govt. and not depositing the same into bank by way of cheque. Due to this the challan details to be put in while preaparing the TDS return are not available.

As rightly said by ram babu From 24 G is specifically made for Govt departments. By using the TDS preparation software you can file the return eassly

As you know while we do for other than Govt we have to enter CIN ( Challan Identification Number 20 Digit) likewise we need BIN ( Book adjustment Identification Number 20Digit) for govt return preparation which is available from 24G single form efiling which is filed by District treasury which contains 7 digit Receipt No, 8 Digit date, 5 digit DDO row no which we have to enter when we preparing 24Q or 26Q for Govt.
