I am giving the ca final exams in may 2011. I have certain doubts regarding the passing criteria. if I get more than 60 in one subject in a group and I am not able to clear rest of the 3 papers then will i get the exemption for that particular paper in which i scored more than 60. What is the minimum score that i need to get in the rest of the subjects in that group. What are the relevant provisions regarding the same.

You will get exemption in the subject in which you scored 60 or above, even if you fail in the other subjects of the same group. But it is important that you do not remain absent for any of the Paper.

YES YOU WILL GOT AN EXEMPTION BY SECURING 60 MARKS IN ANY SUBJECT........YOU CAN GOT EXEMPTION IN MORE THEN ONE PAPER ALSO.....................IT IS NOT EFFECTED BY YOUR OTHER SUBJECTS NUMBER......................

SUPPOSE YOU GOT AN EXEMMPTION IN A SUBJECT BUT FAIL IN THREE THEN ALSO YOU CAN ENJOY THAT EXEMPTION UPTO NEXT THREE ATTEMPT...............

BUT I WISH TO U SCORE 60+ IN EACH PAPER...........

BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR EXAMINATION

Agreed with this..... ALL THE BEST..........

You will get exemption in any single subject in which you score 60 Marks. I mean if you get more than 60 in 2 subjects of a group you can claim exemption in any one of them. As regards there is no minimum marks criteria in any other subject. But dont remain absent in any paper. Best of Luck for your exams..
