Urgent new password for efiling

So what's the progress ...did u get any reset password mail madhavi maa'm.

i am also trying since last week to change password for 2 of my clients but m getting no response from income tax dept....

they are saying that new password will be send to the REGISTERED EMAIL only.

I am also facing the same problem. I have sent mail on 13.08.13  but not received today. I talked IT toll free number on  21.8.2013 . They said that newpassword will be sent on registered mail id from 06.08.2013 due to security reason.They also said that they are receiving large number of such call and request hence department has decided to reconsider on this issue so wait for few days. after taht i have not talked at toll free number. I do not know whether the IT deptt has allowed to send password on new mail id or not.

Dear Madam,

 

You can use the forgot password option....

and...

 

                       If you have failed to reset the password thru the 'Security answer' and 'last IT Acknowledgement' options, and you have even forgotten or lose access to your registered e-mail id......

then; the easiest, and unfortunately in most of our cases, the last and ONLY way to get access to your account is 

--> Get a new DSC [Digital Signature Certificate] 

--> Use Forgot Password Option 

--> Choose Upload DSC option 

--> Choose "New DSC", if u haven't registered one with your account 

--> and hit [[Validate]]  

They'll directly take you to "new password" set option... retype and confirm the password... and You're in..  :)

A small question.  You client doesn't have last year's return copy?  If yes, then why don't you reset your password using last year acknowledgment no and bank account details.  You also have the option of changing email ID there.

Last year the return was manual..so that option is not available
