Urgent need of help for IPCC exams

1078 views 3 replies

Hi friends,

I am currently planning to give IPCC in May, 2011.

I had science in my 12th and that is surely going to affect my grasp of concepts in IPCC and surely it wont be like CPT which was relatively much easier.

And I dont support   the idea of tuitions clearing my fundas in IPCC as I solely rely on self study.

What strategy should be adopted in order to clear the xams?

Also it would be very helpful to suggest some books through which i can build my basics.

                  Plz Hlp.

                  Thnks in advance

HII SAMBHIT...

First of all let me tell u that i have many CA friends who cleared aa the exams in first attempt despite being science student in +2... so u dont need to worry...all u need is to pay more attention in accounts, cost & sfm..

tutions are not always helpful in CA exams but they guide u to the right path..still its self study that works..

so if u r planning for self study start ur prep with full zeal.

purchase latest edition SCANNER. r preparation shuld be exam oriented..

as far as books r concerned first of all study ICAI modules particularly for accounts ,cost & sfm.thereafter practice compiler of ICAI.

ur prep. shud be focussed on module but u may consult reference books also. like padhukas for accounts, cost. Surbhi bansal notes for audit.ajay kalra for fm, munish bhandari for law. dinesh madan for IT. vk singhania for tax

all the best...

i respect ur method of selfstudy ....n there r many person who r already frm science background....n even one of my frnd who was science student bt shifted to ca n he also got rank ....

and abhi may ke liye time enough hai 4 prep ...so make ur plan wisely acd to ur study pattern

i suggest u...

Accounts --- P.C.Tulsian  for both . A/c std ke liye notes.

Law___ munish bhandari ..n notes for ethics n communication if u dont understand it ..bcz i didnt get any knowlege frm this book n find too hard ..bt 4 some it is gud...so depend upon ur personal views

Costing  --P.c.Tulsian , and also Rajesh makkar notes for FM ( MAY B KALRA>>> BT U CANT GRASP IT EASILY )

TAX_____ nothing like V.K. singhania...nd for last day reading u can buy ajay jain book...its gud in summary for exam day

Audit ---- surbhi bansal is gud ...bt it lacks case studies ..so i wil  suggest u paduka ..if u hav less time then  take surbhi bansal

IT N SM __-- both i wil refer dinesh madan ..its short n concise .. n totally upto exam mark .

I hav told wht i feel best ...rest is ur choice

take others advice whenever u need bcz self study doesnt mean tht u cant take guidance frm others

best of luck
