My Uncle passed away few days back.
He was running a Sole Proprietorship Business.
So, now after his demise, we want to continue the business under my aunt's name
I want to know:
1. How can we transfer the business under my aunt's name, so that the NAME of the FIRM doesn't change.?
2. Since, GSTIN is a PAN based
number if we transfer the business under my aunt's name as a resultant our GSTIN will also change?
Seeking for your response. Since it is quite urgent

As a legal representative she can continue business
NAME OF THE FIRM WILL NOT CHANGE SINCE IT IS A PROPRIETORSHIP COMPANY AND THAT YOUR AUNT IS LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FIRM

First u hv to cancel ur gst no.... If address is floor wise... Then u can add different floor
Ur aunt can run business in that name as legal heir
