Hello i am in c.a final appearing for may 2014 exams,i have not started yet..i am planning to study law self study in order to get exemption in may 2014 exams...but icai has given the notification that co.s act 2013 will be applicable for november 2014 exams..so please tell me should i miss this attempt or prepare for november 2014 exams.,.out of co.s act 1956 and 2013 which one is easier?what are the changes between 1956 and 2013?

Since you are telling you have not yet started, you've very less time to start. Also, cant be assured of getting an exemption in short while plus, since this is last time that the entire old act will be asked in exam, chances are high that this attempt could be really tough (cos institute might deliberately keep results low so that students learn new act also while they qualify as CA). I am not demotivating, just predicting based on my experience.

There is nothing like short of time, it is determination which count, that can make you stand apart from others. The best way to approach May / June 2014 attempt is by giving your best effort and not by leaving things to speculation.
