HIII "my cousin brother wroking in marketing.His salary his below the slabe.But his company deducted tds?
My Question is
(i) Whether he can claim refund?
(II) How to file the income tax and other details without any software i.e which site is appropriate for filing the
income tax. If possible send me the procedure
(III) If possible for (i) what procedure should i follow ......................................
GO TO INCOME TAX SITE AND DOWNLOAD THE FORM IN EXCEL FORMAT
WHICH CAN BE USED FOR E-FILLING
AND U WILL RECD. REFUND FROM INCOME TAX DEPTT., MAY BE AFTER 2-3 MONTHS
IT will refund the TDS for sure
With Regard to filing, plz get a softcopy of ITR, fill the same & upload in income tax site (i think there is an option for uploading)
TDS deducted will be refunded by Income Tax Department if the Taxable Income is below Exemption limit.
Go to www.IncomeTaxindia.gov.in and download the Excel Utility form (ITR-1) . It is very easy to fill and all the Instructions are also available.
Just post the ITR-V to Income Tax Department Bengaluru(CPC) and wait for an confirmation mail.
