whether uploading of credit note is compulsory in GST even if we do not want to set off output tax liability.

Then how u can maintain hsn summary... And if it is uploaded by ur buyer?? And for that credit note u hv not received any payment... Payment received only for net sale... Now u urself think
we will issue non taxable credit note without charging GST. customer can't upload as it is non taxable . customer will not loose any ITC. we will not claim any tax reduction in our output tax liability and we will not upload such credit note.
Is it exempted supply??
U should be uploaded to it in ur gstin... Then it is automatically uploaded in counter party gstr2a
This year only gstr1 filing is going on... No gstr2... That's why
