Can anyone clarify my doubt A person has taken a building on lease for which he incurred Rs.10 lakhs for renovation. And the lease agreement will be expired in 3 years. As the building is not owned by him, expenditure is to be treated is revenue expenditure?

this expenditure is claimable as depericiation

Can we claim this expenditure as depreciation even after the expiry of lease agreement?

claim that expenditure within the useful life of the lease period

once the lease period is over u have given away the leased building back to the owner therefore hort term capital gain loss would be calculated

Sir

how it will be treated as depreciation, Please clarify
