Transfer of Articleship

Hi Friends,

I have completed 3 years of articleship, becoz of excess leave taken, now i have got an extension of 4 months.

I don't want to continue the extension period under the same principal,I want to join some other new firm for the remaining period , is it possible to do so,please quote the applicable section and clause.

Please call up ICAI and confirm properly buddy. Although I guess that is allowed. You need to fill form 108. And ICAI will send you a letter to again join articleship. That you do and complete 3 months at new place. But after the new transfer rules, I dont know whether this holds good or not.
