I have completed 1.5 years of my Articleship. I am shifting from one city to another, But on the grounds that my whole family is shifting for my elder sister's studies. My father is no more and my mother is housewife. So my question is that what all supporting documents will i need to submit since i dont have any transfer letter of working parent. Will only rent Agreement do the needful or I need to submit anything else along with NOC of employer and letter for Approval. Will ICAI allow me to take transfer since my whole family is shifting.

Yes they allow transfer of articleship in genuine cases... City distance should be more than 50Km...submit rent agreement of new city with letter stating all the facts.... They allowed u... If they ask further any documentation then send.... First take approval letter from icai.. Gud luck 👍👍
Thanks a lot sir...But if i take NOC from my Employer now and send the letter for termination for approval and what if the letter is not approved... My employer will also get angry since i am taking transfer and will my attempt get delayed...
Ur letter will get approved.. As it is genuine case... Ya principal didn't allow transfer generally... But what u can do in that... As u hv no other option left... And employer have to give permission in this case... So don't worry... Just stating all the facts in ur letter and submit it... If possible visit also and get approval letter soon
If they didn't allow just send a copy of ur letter and all documents to president of ICAI and chairman of ur branch.... Visit personally and ask for approval.... Generally they didn't deny for giving transfer letter.... As it is icai rule u can took transfer in case of transfer in another city

Firstly no sir here... Only elder brother... Ur training get extended by that leave period... If it is possible for u then continue ur training till getting approval letter... Otherwise not... And once visit personally and tell them give approval as soon as possible.... Ur attempt will not be delayed... As in for November attempt ur training should be completed before 30th April of next year... I mean in case of last 6 months of serving ur training u can appear for paper.. Gud luck
