Dear friends

please tell me whether I am in a position to take transfer considering the following points and new announcement made by Council as on 27-03-2009:

1. I was registered for articleship in October,2007 In Delhi (NIRC)

2. My Principal has changes their Reg. office from Delhi to Alwar (Rajsthan) which falling in the jurisdication of WIRC of ICAI.

3. That I am still handling the principal's work in Delhi

4. and i want to take transfer from my current principal and take the articleship with new principal which is in Delhi

5. and i want to shift from Delhi To Gurgaon Or if i do not want to shift from Delhi

yes u can take transfer with ur existing principles permission

Dear anil, you will be allowed to take transfer. You have a strong reason to take transfer. Now it is not easy to take transfer frequently by articles. talk to your principal about this. Procedure of transfer has been changed.FORM 120 now has to be filled mentioning reason of transfer and submit one copy to principal and other ICAI for taking approval .
