HELLO FRIENDS, MY CLIENT HAS STARTED THE NEW BUSINESS 

THEY MANUFACTURED THE GOODS FROM SOME OTHER PERSON AND USES THEIR NAME ON THE GOODS 

BUT MANUFACTURING ACTIVITY IS DONE BY THE THIRD PERSON

PLS HELP ME WHAT ARE THE TAX PROVISIONS APPLICABLE

WHETHER HE IS TREATED AS TRADER OR MANUFACTURER

WHAT OTHER TAX LIABILITIES ARE THERE.

PLS HELP ME.

If the entire manufacturing activity is done by the third party and  purchase of Raw materials, supply labour etc i.e. all manufacture related costs are handled and borne by the third party and only the selling marketing aspects are handled by your client only then your client will be treated as a trader.
