Tracking source of rtgs/neft

Hello I have a huge no. of sale order to government dept. these dept make payment very late and that too any haphazard amount. Mostly these receipts are in RTGS/ NEFT form; so when i receive the fund in my account the reference no / Particular column does not show the party which the fund came from rather some code is displayed. which makes it very difficult to track the payment source. I want to know the way so that i can track the source of payment. i have tried confirming the same from respective government deptt. but that is of no respite. I have discussed this issue with my bank too but they say that they also don't know anything about the source except the reference no. Is there any direct way to track the source party of fund Thanks Prateek CA - Intern
