Time limit for paying the service tax to the govt.?

In plain language -

for corporate's

1. 5th of the next month for April-Feb

2. 31st March for the month of Mar

For others,

1. 5th of the succeding month from the end of the quarter from April - Dec;

2. 31st for the last quarter (Jan-Mar)

If it is oline payment, you can pay on 6th also.  For more details, refer rule no 6 of Service Tax Rules, 1994.
