Hello experts,
One of my client was not able to file it's GST returns due to financial crunch and he received SCN for cancellation of GST registration. But he didn't see that and now the time of replying to the SCN has expired.
Returns of 3 months have not been filed.
What should be done?
Kindly guide me on the course of action to be taken.

Quick Summary
In my opinion, Gst registration has to be cancelled now after paying all tax liabilities. Or meet your Gst officer in person by whom notice was issued

If registration is still active, contact issuing officer immediately and ask him not to cancel till you file the returns and pay all dues. File all pending returns with interest and late fee ASAP.
