Hi!... I had applied for termination on medical grounds. I had submitted along with my Form Medical certificate from a Govt Doctor and also photocopies of all my prescriptttions. But the ICAI has rejected my termination. Neither are they telling on wat grounds have they rejected it. Can anyone help me out with what should I do next? What procedure is there so that I can prove that my reason is genuine and get my termination approved? Please HELP ME

As such, they require certificate from a government doctor only, which u've already provided... Moreover, termination required should be of more than 3 months..., that is u should ask for atleast 3 months leave, on the medical grounds...

So, i think this can be the one reason, have u asked for minimum of 3 months termination???

I visited the institute couple of days back seeking clarification on transfer rules, but i was shocked to learn that they have cancelled termination on medical grounds as they are of the opinion that fake medical certificates could be purchased & produced to them. So the alternatives available with us are very limited.

They also told me to wait patiently for 2-3 months, because they are expecting that the existing termination rules would be relaxed by the new president. Hope we get a considerate President in the coming days who could understand the plight of CA students & something favourable happens.

U gotta be kiddin geetha....

In that case, even genuine students will suffer the maximum, like VARSHA..... man, atleast such clause should not be deleted...

Even i m in dire need of transfer as i m getting married in march, but there is no way out of these sick rules...

Yes.. My medical certificate from the Govt doc clearly  mentions that I require 3 months rest to recover from the ailment I'm suffering from. Still the institute has rejected it

Arey i know there's no way out, but atleast they should stick to their own rules....

As such, whatsoever rules they will make, students are going to break those... But why should genuine students having real problems face the same?? This sounds pathetic...

Yes exactly.. its really pathetic.. When they have clearly mentioned Medical grounds can be a reason for transfer, I wonder how they can go back on their words and reject the transfer?

Dhirav.. Can you tell me what i can do now to try and get this transfer done? I'm really sick and cannot continue in the present firm.

I think u should contact ur branch and talk with some authority... Also try to get permission letter from ur boss (which is very mandatory)... And clarify them that ur termination or discontinuance from articleship is inevitable for u....

Coz, this is the only thing u can do, after their rejection of ur request...

hmmm ok... I contacted the Delhi office about this. And they replied saying that it is purely President' s judgment to accept / reject a termination. And unless he approves it, nothing can be done :-(

Whoooo, our UTTAM AGGRAWAL..... is a person of his own mind set... Try conveyncing the authorities of ur local branch., may be they can help u out....

hey know wht u betta ask some hothead frm ur family to call them up....tht has worked for some of my frnds....its more or less like if u pester them more the heigher ur chances u'd get a termination....

i thnk wait till feb new transfer rules cn cum courtsey of our going to be president ca amarjeet chopra

I guess, get your application for termination on medical ground forwarded by your principal - in addition to attaching the medical certificates.

But I think for taking for taking termination, there should be already leave for 3 mths.

As u r applying before 3 mths so they hav rejected ur application.
