Telephone reimbursement in itr

Hello Everyone,

My name is Piyush and i am salaried person.

My company does not provide the telephone reimbursement option in the salary structure. Is it possible to claim tax benefit at my own during filling ITR.

I can deduct the amount of telephone bills through Gross Salary and in case ITO sends me email that there is a difference in the amount then I can share the e-bills.

Please suggest if it's a right way or not?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Piyush

If you are getting reimbursement from your employer......  in that case you cannot claim any additional deduction.

Thanks Dhirajlal Sir. My employer does not provide the telephone reimbursement. So please suggest if i can claim the deduction from telephone bills

No Dear, unless you get it from employer, you cannot deduct the same from your salary amount.

Thanks sir. Appreciate your help!

My Pleasure ..
