So many twists and turns added to a classic story..,

Moral for the earlier story was, Even though you are the best, but you cant afford to take rest before you win..,

inspirable, and made us to think out of the box..., apne talent ko pehchano, respect others' skills too.., work as a better team, work for the best results...

Thankyou for sharing...

That's some evolution of the good old story, Dear Sanjay Ji !!!

But, as I perceive, a Fast and Accurate emplyoee/worker is a Utopian dream ( until and unless modern science steps in and implants some chip into our brains ) Can we realistically attach the two attributes to human beings ? Also, think about chances of their occuring - both can't be at the same place for majority of the cases e.g., analytical works or  creatives endeavours. The wonderfully creative presentation itself must be a brain-child of a slow and steady worker.

Further, Fast and Accurate & Slow and Steady, are so unique in their pure form ( I doubt whether any such pure form exists or not ) that they can make a good team only theoretically and even if they gel together for some time, frictions will occur and break them apart. No doubt, such a combination, if possible, would make the greatest team. But this greatest team may need scientific intervention to go some distance together.

Right from days of the 'Father of Scientific Management' -  F.W.Taylor, if not from much earlier, the people at the helm of affairs have been trying to search for a perfect environment and a perfect ideology that may give birth to a perfect employee. The search for a Fast and Accurate worker is some centuries old or still older. The search continues even in the 21st century.

To conclude with a touch of simple humour, the Fast and Accurate ones can excel at those clerical works that demand little thinking, while the Slow and Steady ones will become CAs/CSs /CMAs  or a combination of such expertise - a la CMA. CS. Sanjay Gupta.

Beg to disagree with you Sourav Da....

Point No 1) You are associating CA/CS/CMA's with slow and steady. Disagree, in the present scenario where they are so many compliances with regard to plethora of statutes to be looked after, we the CA/CS/CMA's associate ourself as fast and accurate not only in decision making process but also in doing compliance part. Or we can say that we are trying to be fast and accurate.

Point No. 2) "Can we realistically attach the two attributes to human beings ?" Yes we can. Here fast does not mean that doing work with breathtaking speed. It means doing work timely and efficiently. Speed will differ from person to person, but as you very well know organization will prefer the persons who are 'RELATIVELY' fast and accurate, but yes slow and steady should not be neglected if they have some core competency which will be benificial for the organization. Like the Tortoise had the ability to swim accross the river.

Point No. 3) "Utopian dream". I dont know about the Utopian Dream but being an Proud Indian, i see an Indian Dream thus the situation depicted in the presentation is highly achievable. And this presentation is made for the people to realize that how benifcial will that be. Kyunki jaha sui ki jarurat ho waha talwar kaam nahi aati. So both are integral part of 'TEAM'.

Point No. 4) "Can we realistically attach the two attributes to human beings ?" Yes we can. If we observe closely we wont have to go very far, we can find it in our organization itself. At least i can. Over here we are indicating the two extremes, but people with different core competencies.

Further if a person is fast at something it does not meant that his chances of makinhg mistake will increase. But if a person is slow by nature and tries to react or do work fast he will make mistake.

And Sourav Da 21st Century tak ki baat kya bolte ho...There is so much of development in Corporate, just because of combination of the "Fast and Accurate" and "Slow & Steady" type of human resources. And for fast and accurate, the wait is over. The new generation going to give that and is already giving that to the corporates.

And regarding creative work, most of them are spontaneous and not slow...Koi bbhi kaam kokarne ke liye 1 standard time hota hai...With fast we mean doing that work within that standard time and also imprving upon that...Agar kisi kaam mai 8 hours lagte hai to use ham 2 hours mai to nahi kar sakte....

And Finally Sourav Da....Do you really think i am 'SLOW' & 'STEADY'.....

Hahahahahha

gd one
