Some of the Bank FD's Interest / Tax deducted are shown in "TDS2 Details of Tax Deducted at Source other than Salary" under Tax Details tab and some are not shown in it.. I am adding all FD's Interest + Savings Interest amount in Interest from other sources field.
So my question is whether to add any missing Bank FD Information in TDS2 Details, as for this bank the interest per annum is less than 10,000.
Any addition of FD interest in ITR will not be harmful, (rather acceptable) but just check why bank missed it.
If any bank where annual interest of FD/s is less than 10,000/- TDS not deducted for it; and is not reported. But now-a days all the branches of any single bank are clubbed for AIR reporting, hence rarely question of any miss.
Anyway, you must report all the interest earned for assessment, whether reported in 26AS or not.
