Quick Summary
If your Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) was withheld by a company before you were registered, you might wonder about claiming a refund. Generally, you can only claim TDS refunds for a maximum of one financial year. However, there are provisions for filing returns for past years, such as FY 2018-19, even after the usual deadline, potentially allowing you to claim refunds for multiple years if your condonation of delay request is approved.
Aa you can file condonation of delay and explain the reason why you had not filed return if it is approved than you can file return and claim refund for all years
