Last day.. i generated a TDS return and filed it...but unfortunatelty, instead of filing form 27Q(As tax was deducted from NRI), i did it in 26Q,..

What can be done? is revising it enough? return was for F.Y.  2010 - 11

or can i wait till the department issues any notice?

Hi Aparna,

As per my view you should revise the return and should not wait for the department to send notice for the same.

Hi Aparna,

Yes, You have to revised your return without waiting for notice from department.

Agree with Shweta.

There is no limit for revising the tds returns

so hence you can revise your returns when ever you find a mistake in it
