In case of deduction of TDS from salary, the deduction is not warranted since his taxable income is NIL.

The TDS will be chareged at 20%.TDS will not be charged only after quoting the PAN number and submissionof 15G form for nondeduction of TDS.

Dear Sir,
When the salary package is not taxable then TDS will not be deducted by the employer.
For your information, W.e.f. April 1, 2010, where TDS is to be deducted, it wil be deducted @ 20% if a person does not have PAN.
